Just so everyone knows Gunslingers is one word, we do not go around putting slings on broken guns (e.g. Gun Slingers), that just seems silly. On top of that “Slingers” isn’t even a word.

OK, This year went as smoothly as I could ever hope. We were able to get nearly Twice what we did last year, we also might have some good sound and video from the show. Let wait and see what comes of it.

Work on our second EP, The Dream Butcher / Mr. E Moto, IS COMPLETE!!! Official release date is October 27th, 2007 but if you happen to be able to find one of us, we might be able to work something out for a personal advance copy. It’s a DOUBLE EP (8 tracks) with a wonderful selection of songs that we have been refining for some time. It should be something to give you an ear-gasm.

We are putting together a second Save Ohio Strippers show at the High Five in Columbus Ohio on Friday September 14th. The Christians For Decency are already trying to blindside us with all of their ‘moral uprising’ propaganda and all we can say is we will be having a great time with some hot girls, free beer and great bands so we hope to see you there! Featured for the evening will be a burlesque dancer group, the Jägermeister girls and a great lineup of bands including Thick as Thieves, Yummy Fight and The Blue Eyed Gunslingers. The votes are gonna count soon so come represent!!!

The 2nd Annual Blue Eyed Gunslingers - CD101 For the Kids benefit show is set for November 30th, 2007 at Skully’s Music Diner. The band lineup for the night has been locked in, we have: 333, The Blue Eyed Gunslingers, Evil Queens and Earwig. This promises to be an awesome show with a great purpose. We’ll post more detail here as they come.

We have just confirmed the date for our Annual “For the Kids” benefit show. November 30th, 2007 at Skully’s music diner in the short north. As soon as we have the line up we will be posting that as well.

Excitedly, we’re back at it in the studio working on our 2nd EP. The Gunslingers, along with Thick as Thieves have spent the last few weeks pouring our musical energy back into the back room of the Getaway Gallery. Special thanks to John Swanson for working on both of these projects with us. Look for the official release from both B.E.G. and Thick as Thieves this spring.
